Cooler weather is finally coming!

Words can’t express my joy at finding myself wishing I had my hoodie yesterday! Bring on the cooler weather and send those mosquitos away for the cold seasons!

Anyway, so what’s been going on lately? School started back up, and that is taking a decent amount of my time. For those who don’t know me, I am a school teacher by day. As much as I would love to do this as my full time job, I am still navigating getting it to a point where doing it as a part time job can even cover expenses. Google ads are crazy expensive, and since Google won’t point people your way much without them, it is going to be tough to be found when people go looking. Meta ads are less expensive, but I am not convinced they are doing much. That said, I knew it would be a slow start.

What I have done is hopefully positioned myself to be ready when things start moving. This website was a bit project for me. I have a CRM system that I can use to deliver contracts, proposals, galleries, and send invoices. I have a work email with my domain, and I am insured well, which makes it possible to take some jobs that I otherwise would not be able to take. It is my hope that my prospective clients see that I take this business seriously and will take their needs just as seriously. I am fine with carrying this business and I expect to for a while as I learn and grow. In my heart, I believe it will pay off in time.
